Long Beach Clinic
Originally from the East Coast, Dr. Mike brings a results-driven, patient-centered approach to the Long Beach community. He holds a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science, a Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Yo San University, and advanced clinical training from the Beijing International Acupuncture Training Center.
With a background in movement and performance, Dr. Mike specializes in orthopedic pain management, men’s and women’s health, stress and burnout recovery, and addiction recovery support. His clinical style blends classical acupuncture with modern therapeutic tools such as cupping, gua sha, near-infrared light therapy, and electrical stimulation to support measurable, whole-system healing.

Dr. Diane Joy Gliane is a California board-certified licensed acupuncturist with a background in psychology and integrative healthcare. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach, and her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Southern California University of Health Sciences.
She brings experience from both inpatient and outpatient settings, including work at Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC). Dr. Diane Joy offers compassionate care to patients of all ages, with a clinical focus on stress and pain management, fertility support, and improving overall quality of life.

Dr. Erika Shaw is a California board-certified licensed acupuncturist and Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, having earned her doctorate from Pacific College of Health & Science. A lifelong athlete, she specializes in orthopedic conditions and sports injuries.
With experience across track and field, dance, swimming, volleyball, wrestling, and 16 years of competitive soccer, Erika understands the physical and mental demands of athletic performance. In addition to orthopedics, she treats stress and anxiety, autoimmune and inflammatory conditions, and digestive disorders. Outside the clinic, she enjoys Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, language study, and watching K-dramas.

Santa Ana Clinic
Dr. Darby Sherman is a California board-certified acupuncturist and herbalist whose work is informed by early exposure to East Asian medicine and experience in palliative and hospice care. She earned her B.S. in Human Services from California State University, Fullerton, and completed her Master’s and Doctorate at the Institute of Clinical Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Hawai‘i.
Trained as a Mindful Forgiveness facilitator through the Stanford Forgiveness Project, Dr. Darby specializes in women’s health, sleep disorders, digestive conditions, dermatology, and psycho-emotional well-being. Her approach emphasizes rest, connection, and creating a nurturing space for whole-person healing.

Santa Ana Clinic
Catherine Strahan graduated Summa Cum Laude from Emperor’s College of Traditional Oriental Medicine, where she focused on Japanese-style acupuncture—a gentle, minimally invasive approach centered on patient comfort. She previously earned a B.A. in Art History from UC Santa Barbara and is also a certified yoga teacher.
A third-generation Santa Barbara native from a family of healers and gardeners, Catherine is deeply interested in the role of art, movement, plants, and mindfulness in the healing process. Outside the clinic, she enjoys cooking, making music with her fiancé, and spending time in nature.

Dr. Paige Valles is a California board-certified licensed acupuncturist dedicated to compassionate, person-centered care. She earned her B.S. from California State University, Fullerton, and her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Southern California University of Health Scices.
Inspired by her family’s own healing experiences with acupuncture, Dr. Valles brings a warm, empathetic approach to her practice. Her clinical focus includes pain management, fertility support, and stress and anxiety relief. She evaluates each patient through a biopsychosocial lens, considering physical, emotional, and social factors that influence health.

Her path into medicine was inspired by her family’s holistic traditions and her late grandfather, shaping a deeply compassionate approach to care.
She specializes in psycho-emotional support, pain management, fertility, women’s health, oncology support, and general wellness. Her style blends classical acupuncture with Master Tung–style acupuncture, a distal point system known for its efficiency. Treatments are gentle, individualized, and focused on helping patients feel grounded, seen, and supported.
